This surprising horseback journey south of Paris takes one through the region historically associated with King Louis XIV, the “Sun King”, and his Superintendent, Nicolas Fouquet. The trail takes us to the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte in Versailles via Courances, Chamarande, the Abbey of Vaux-de-Cernay and Breteuil.
