The Perigord Vert, or Green Perigord, as mentioned by Jules Verne, is in the northern area of the Dordogne Department. This underestimated, green region is criss-crossed with numerous streams (Isle, Auvezere, Dronne), that follow the curvature of the hills and valleys.
